THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SITES IN THE WORLD

Tonight, I want to share with you the most beautiful sites in the world I’ve ever seen.  There are so many I don’t know where to begin……………………………You are probably expecting me to start describing some exotic dream destinations, right? Well, tonight I actually wanted to write a personal note to you.  If you read me regularly, you’ll know that I try to keep all the personal stuff out of my posts.  I like to strictly stay to the miles & points deals.  I know when I’m doing my research I’m not looking to read all this personal stuff.  I want the meat of the deal and that’s it.  But I just couldn’t help myself tonight.  So here it is.

I was laying down with my youngest son who is almost three.  Trying to get to him sleep so “my time” could start.  I love my quiet late nights.  It’s so peaceful after a long busy day as Momma.  My little one didn’t nap today (another…..I’m going to fight my nap day) so I was hoping he would fall asleep fast so could get to my blogging.  I’m laying there thinking of all these miles and points deals, what I’m going to blog about tonight, etc., etc.  My mind is far away from him.  He is so restless and not sleeping.  Finally, after about thirty minutes he drifts off to sleep.  Just as his eyes are closing and he is laying there looking like a perfect angel this song I had never heard came on the radio.  The words go like this:

I’m immediately captivated by my child’s precious face.  The one I’m rushing to get asleep so I can go blog.  In that moment, I’m reminded that the most beautiful sites I’ve ever seen aren’t places but the faces of my children and the ones I love so dearly.  These are truly the most beautiful sites in all the world.  Just wanted to remind you tonight that the adventures of exotic places, far away lands, and beautiful places are wonderful but never will compare to the beauty that is right in front of you everday; your wife, your husband, your son, your daughter, your mom, your dad, your dearest friend, your girlfriend/boyfriend, your ??? Enjoy those moments!  They are truly the greatest gifts of life.  I love to travel and experience the world but I know that my greatest joys are found right here in my life each day with the ones I love.  Cherish the ones you love today and remember you can’t buy them with miles and points.  Nothing can ever buy the gifts that comes from above.  We are blessed to be able to enjoy the beauty of the world around us but the most beauty creation God made was us!  I’m thankful for all my blessing tonight!
