PRAGUE – DAY 2

Today was a very full day!  We left our hotel at 8:30 a.m. and walked until 5:30 p.m. when we finally sat down for dinner.  Then we walked & shopped some more until 10:00 p.m.  The street were packed as we headed back on the tram to our hotel.

We visited the Jewish Quarter, Old Town, Astronomical Clock and Wenceslas Square.  Such a beautiful city!  Had a yummy traditional czech breakfast and dinner.  Delicious snack for lunch.  Love the food!  So yummy.  Lots of vegetables, goulash, pork, sausage, and devine sweets.  Bought a ton of chocolate and treats.  Loading up my bag! already.  I always love to take home lots of goodies for my stash.  Tomorrow we will visit Prague Castle in the morning and then take a bus to Cesky Krumlov for an overnight trip. Can’t wait to see this tiny village.  It is suppose to be the “Rothenburg” of the Czech Republic.  Sat on the plane over and visited with Czech woman about my age who just raved about it. She said I would love it.  She also told me all the food I should eat and an special drinks I should order.  Last night we had some sweet apple shot our waitress brought us as a welcome drink.  Don’t know what it was called it would have been deadly if I’d had another.  I’m a good girl so I didn’t!

Well, it’s late, so here are today’s pics!  Click on one to view in a gallery mode.
