If you haven’t signed up with Points.com then you should.  There are so many ways you can benefit and use Points.com, and now they have just added the ability to redeem your points for cash deposited into you Paypal account.

Redeem your American Airlines AAdvantage miles, Asia Miles™, AviancaTaca LifeMiles, Priority Club Rewards or US Airways® Dividend Miles into your PayPal account to gain access to millions of online merchants. 

To get started, log in to your Points.com account, then go to the give & redeem page and select PayPal. If you do not have a Points.com account,sign up for free and register your loyalty program(s). 

NOTE:  Depending on the partner, it could take 3-7 days for your funds to appear in the PayPal account, so be sure to plan ahead if you’re thinking of using your miles for a purchase. Also, please note that after you redeem into your PayPal account you will have 30 days to ensure the email address you entered is registered with PayPal so you can receive your money.

With Points.com you can redeem your points, miles and rewards for more than just travel! On Points.com you can choose to redeem your loyalty points and miles for the following: 

• Gift cards from hundreds of popular retailers such as
   Amazon.com and Best Buy

  1. Have you even looked at the exchange ratio using Points.com??????? You need to “spend” over 24K AA miles to get a $100 gift certificate / paypal amount.

    1. Yes, I have looked up many conversions. It’s not a good deal in many situations but there are times you might benefit from using it. Good for people to know about the program. Good to use points.com for US Airways Grand Slam. Also if you need to keep miles from expiring you can transfer some from another program.
