So if you have good credit and no compulsive credit card behaviors, this is a great deal for you. Let your credit reward your family with a free trip. Plan now, build your miles and reap the rewards sooner than you think. Building your travel savings bank is much the same as a traditional savings account. You must set a goal and then save for it. In this case, you are setting a goal for a special trip or adventure. There are many ways and opportunities to build your travel bank but using credit card bonuses is by far one of the most lucrative and quickest ways to boost your miles balances. So if you are in the right financial position, this might be a good option for you to explore and maximize. I’ve personally been maximizing on these bonuses for years. The bonuses I’ve receive have sent my family on many great adventures all over the world that an average single income family would never be able to afford. I’ve used my good credit as an asset. I’ve learned that if you take care of your credit and treat it well, it can certainly reward you in many ways. Your credit is an asset and you should be maximizing it to your financial benefit.
If your credit is in the tank, then look for how you can improve it so you can get into the game. Check out my Credit Help section and my Credit Repair page. Learn the steps to take to improve your credit score and work to build it back. Monitor it regularly with free sites like Credit Sesame and Credit Karma. Look to open secured credit cards that report to the credit bureaus to begin to prove to lenders that you can be responsible with credit and you are becoming a lower risk. A good secured credit card to look at is First Progress Platinum Select MasterCard® Secured Credit Card. You can also check out a great company called Rent Reporting, that reports your rent payments to the credit bureaus and provides you with a updated credit report every 90 days to track your progress. Bet you didn’t know you could improve your credit score just by paying your rent and having it reported. This is especially helpful for my young readers who are looking to build their credit and don’t own a home yet.

@Gary – Thanks for the link for the personal AA. Good to know there is still a working link for 50K. Definitely worth a shot. Doesn’t give details but you probably can’t get less than 40k. Read the thread everyone and see others experience with this link. It is working as of today 8/6.
