Well, guys it’s your turn! Father’s Day is just around the corner! Time to celebrate all the wonderful men in our lives! What would life be like without you. Dull and boring!! I’m sure thankful for all the wonderful men in my life, starting first with my incredible hubby, my sweetie boys, my awesowe three brothers, loving father, great father-in-law, dear uncles and many great friends.
Well, like I promised I am doing a Father’s Day Giveaway for all my Daddy/Grandpa/Guy readers! I bet you all have some great tips to share about traveling with children. Sorry, gals you can’t qualify for this one. Only guys! If you aren’t a father hopefully you’ll be someday. Maybe you can use the gift card to take your father, grandfather or friend out for lunch, fishing, golf, or whatever you like to do for fun.

Happy Father’s Day (in advance) to all of you! Look forward to reading all your travel tips!
I would tell them to don’t forget the snacks!
If the kids are misbehaving while traveling, threaten to call their mother 😉
There’s a fantastic game called “kick, pull, scream” that requires minimal supplies. Simply go to a hobby store and find some “bullseye” stickers – that’s all! They’re easy to pack – which is great for Dad.
Once on board, apply the stickers to various spots on the seatback in front of the child and explain the game. Kick each bullseye, pull on the seat, and scream. The goal is to do this as often and as fast as possible.
This will keep the child occupied for hours!
Bring snacks, crayons and paper.
Book a window seat for kids. It helps to entertain them.
In addition to the Pack n Play tip I presented in the Mothers Day contest (shameless plug), I submit a Father’s Day tip for traveling with children.
At the end of the day, especially a long day, before setting off to your final destination in a car , plane, limo or train, change your child into his or her sleeping attire. You won’t gave to disturb or disrupt their sleep as you put them to bed.
I suggest bringing a nintendo ds or another type of personal game console for each child. This is important. Expecting them to share may cause arguments en route!

I would say that if you can travel by car – do so at night so they will be sleeping most of the time. Bring lots of snacks, drinks and games. Be prepared for bathroom stops. Have them start a travel diary if they are old enough – it will keep them occupied in the car – hard to write and fight at the same time.
bring snacks and drinks, games and books, and be prepared to to stop frequently (if traveling by car) for toilet break or just stretching the legs
Thank you for hosting this giveaway
