EARNING MILES SHOPPING WITH EBAY
EBAY SHOPPING TIPS
There are many good sites to check before you shop online. One good site is rewardsdb.com
. From my experience though this site and others aren‘t always reliable. Today’s online shopping trip was a perfect example of how inaccurate the information displayed on their site can be. According to rewardsdb.com there are a ton of shopping options for Ebay. I can even get 50 United miles per dollar according to their site. SEE HERE Not true at all! Always check the source and double check. Relationships change. From my research this morning, it looks like Ebay has pull out of all of it’s relationships except for Air Canada and their Aeroplan estore. Previously, there has been many cash back sites like Big Crumbs, Ebates, MyPoints, and many others who have offered either miles, points or cash back for your Ebay purchases. Not anymore! I checked all the shopping portals I know of and I could only find that Air Canada’s Aeroplan eStore still offers the option to shop through Ebay.ca. It’s not Ebay.com but it really works just the same.
Currently they are also offering a great promotion of 5 miles per dollar at any participating retailer. This offer is good through February 16. So if you have a need for Air Canada miles and you have some shopping to do, make this the shopping portal you go through.
To make an Ebay purchase:
1. Log on to the Aeroplan eStore with your member number
2. Click on Ebay.ca
This message will appear
3.Click “click here to launch it” if Ebay.ca doesn’t launch automatically (mine did not)
4. Complete your Ebay purchase as normal.
*If you want, you could sign on to your Ebay.com account in advance and save your purchase under your wishlist. Then you can easily just go to your wishlist and make your purchase.
