EARN STARWOOD POINTS THRU AIRMILESMART

Well, since I’m “in love” with Starwood properties, I am always on the look out for ways and opportunities to build up my Starwood balance.  Explore some of these incredible Starwood properties for yourself and I bet you’ll be hooked too.  I’m currently dreaming of my families stay next year in Scotland at the Turnberry Resort.  I can’t wait to stay 5 nights of our 3 week trip in this beautiful resort on the coast in Scotland.

If you are a leisure traveler like me, you have to really search for ways to accumulate Starwood points.  They are not easy to come by like other programs.  Since I don’t travel for business I cannot take advantage of any stay bonuses and other actual travel related promos.  I discovered AirMilesMart, a smaller shopping portal awhile back and just completely forgot about it.  I was delighted that I stumbled upon it again the other day and decided to try it out.

You simply click through their site to the vendor you want to shop with and you earn points at a 1:1 ratio which can be redeemed for Starwood points.  You can also redeem for US Airways Dividend Miles, Delta Airlines Skymiles and GiftCertificats.com I just made a Home Depot purchase and I went through their site so I will report back and let you know how long it takes before my points post.  Their website states that your points should post within 10 days.  Once your balance reaches 500 you can redeem for Starwood points. Points can only be redeemed in 500 point increments.

AirMilesMart has quite a few top vendors too, like Home Depot, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy,  Office Depot, Target and many more.  Here is their complete list below:

I don’t know about you but I’m going to be bookmarking this site as a top consideration when making my online purchases.  I have many many ways to earn with other airlines and program points but very few options with Starwood points.  As long as my points post without any issues, I’m going to be using the portal regularly.  How about you?

Just as a reminder, if you don’t have the Starwood Preferrred card, you’ll want it so you can DOUBLE DIP on your purchases here.  You just shop through AirMilesMart and pay with your Starwood card.  Now you are earning 2 points per dollar!  Now watch your Starwood balance grow and start planning where you’ll use those points.

  1. Just went there a few days ago and found the same thing. I'm thinking they went under. I've been doing research to see if anyone knows what happened. Will post an update if I find out the details. Real bummer! Few ways to earn Starwood points without actually staying. I use my Starwood card as much as I can though. Wish everyone took AMEX.

    1. @cj – Thanks for the update. I’m not sure what their status is now. I just did a quick check and looks like several links are broken like you mentioned. Maybe I’ll see if I can make contact with them and see what their status is.
