This is a great promotion to meet minimum spends on credit card offers while earning cash and extra miles/points on any credit card that offers multiple miles/points per dollar.
WHAT TO DO:
- Simply purchase $300 or more in MasterCard Gift Cards at OfficeMax to receive $20 in instant savings. Savings is applied instantly at the register upon check out.
- $6.95 fee per card but you are still earning a profit and miles/points with your purchase.
NOTE: Promotion offer is limited to 2 per customer while supplies last. But you may be able to make multiple trips to Office Max in your area in the next couple days.
WHAT YOU’LL EARN:
That all depends upon what credit card you use to make your purchase. The highest earning potential comes from using a card like the Ink Business Cards (Ink Bold or Ink Plus) which earns 5X points at office supply stores. Purchase your Mastercard Gift Cards with your Chase Ink Plus, Chase Ink Bold, Chase Ink Cash and earn extra Ultimate Rewards points to increase your UR balance. Or choose one of your other high earning credit cards to maximize this purchase. Maybe use your Club Carlson Rewards Visa if you need hotel points and earn 5X points per dollar.
To maximize your earnings do the following:
- Purchase three (3) $200 Mastercard Gift Cards. $6.95 activation fee per card
COST BREAKDOWN: $600 + $20.85 fees = $620.85 minus $40 instant savings.
TOTAL COST: $580.85 for $600 in Mastercard Gift Cards
TOTAL CASH PROFIT: $19.15
MILES/POINT EARNINGS BREAKDOWN: Model based upon Ink Plus/Ink Bold
- 5 points per dollar = 580.85 x 5 = 2,904 Ultimate Rewards points
This is a super awesome deal! Free cash and free points! Can’t pass these deals up! ENJOY!
LIQUIDATION TIPS: You can set up a pin # with Visa & Mastercard Gift Cards by calling the phone number on the receipt or online with some. In my experience, some Visa & Mastercard Gift Cards can be used for cashback at POS purchases but not always and not at all stores. I’ve had the best luck with Visa Gift Cards and not as much with Mastercard Gift Cards. I love my “Pack of Gum” strategy with these gift cards. Buy a pack of gum for $1.00 and cashback for the rest. Works like a charm most times. You may be able to load these to your Bluebird account. If you have a pin # set up, you should be able to buy money orders from Walmart or other locations using them as a debit card.
