Today Club Carlson launched the Ultimate Night Getaway for the Park Plaza. Register now and receive 50,000 bonus points for 1 qualifying stay. Register and complete a stay between June 28, 2012 and August 28, 2012.. AND, the 50,000 bonus Gold Points are in addition to the number of standard Gold Points awarded for your stay. PLUS, if you book your stay on parkplaza.com you will earn at least an additional 1,000 bonus Gold Points (or more if you have status with Club Carlson) with our online booking bonus. The 50,000 bonus Gold Points will be deposited into your Club Carlson account within 6 – 8 weeks of completing your qualifying stay. Although Club Carlson’s information states 6 – 8 weeks, I received my bonus points for 2 separate stays within 4 days from my stay. Boy Club Carlson is really keeping us busy with these big summer stay promotions. Earlier in June we had the Radisson – Big Night Giveway (50,000 pts), Park Inn – One Plus One (44,000 pts.), and the Country Inn & Suites -Stay One Get One (44,000 pts.) and now this one. Like I’ve written before, I don’t usually write about offers that you actually need to travel to earn points but when the offers are as lucrative as these are I want you to be totally informed.
Now to really earn and save, book your stay through the shopping portal, TopCashBack. They are currently offer 10% cashback for all reservations in which you click through their site to Radisson.com. You can book all Club Carlson properties through Radisson.com. When you search just be sure to click “All Carlson Rezidor hotels” which will bring up all properties including Park Plaza. Then you can specifically search for “Park Plaza” properties.

Book your reservation. As far as I know their 10% cashback offer is good until July 15th unless they extended the offer longer to accomodate the new Park Plaza promotion. Maybe I’ll write to them and ask them to extended their cashback offer until the Park Plaza promotion ends August 28th. I will update this post & my Club Carlson page with their response. As it stands now you will need to complete your stay before July 15th to receive the 10% cashback. Cashback is not earned when booked but once stay is completed.

Have fun earning all these Club Carlson points this summer. I’m having fun earning them and burning them. I’ll be staying at the Park Inn Prague in August redeeming 6 nights for 90,000 points I earned last year (15,000 points per night). Regular room rates are $122.00 night for a standard room. So my week’s accommodations in Prague would have cost me $832.28 USD (17,100 CZK) including tax. I acquired last years 100,000 points. 50,000 points for my account and another 50,000 points for hubby’s account for 2 night stays that we actually needed. . Then I merged them together. This is free to do with any person not just a family member. I think this is one awesome benefit of the Club Carlson program. So my week’s accommodation in Prague is absolutely free for me & my mother-in-law. How about that! Plus I still have 10,000 points left and of course another 100,000 I earned this year. Thinking of where I’ll plan the next vacation with those. I’ve been looking at some nice properties in Ireland for next year or maybe Caribbean. Will see! Love having options! Great catch, I have 2 of 3 done from the first batch, with a Radisson in Dubai and Park Inn in Muscat, and am enjoying the challenge of these.
@Rapid Travel Chai – That’s great! I’m in the same boat. Couldn’t figure out a Park Inn yet. The only one in CA is in Fresno. I’m going to work in the Park Plaza somewhere even if it’s just a checkin which has been fine with both of my other 2 reservations. Not sure why the T&C’s say you must be present at check out. Who checks out these days anyway. You always get the slip under the door anyhow.
