If you are a regular reader you know I don’t buy miles, except on rare occasions. Takes the fun out of it for me. I love my miles free big or small. The credit card bonuses keep the big miles rolling in but the free offers like this American Airlines promotion are just fun!

Complete survey of a couple questions regarding your preferred airline loyalty brands and why. Enter your information and AA number. Hit submit and that’s it!

If you don’t have a Facebook account and aren’t interested in Facebook I totally understand that but I would suggest opening one that you don’t use just for miles/point promotions like these. They are always coming from some loyalty brand or another and it’s just a few clicks for some free miles that keep your account activity moving and prevent miles from expiring. The majority of programs require activity in your account in some fashion once in 18 months to prevent miles from expiring.

Miles should post in 6 – 8 weeks.

The ~~Official Rules~~ say that you have until 10: 59 CST on December 17, 2012 to complete the survey. I wouldn’t wait till then though. Promotions like this are notorious for getting pulled early if they receive too much traffic.
