$300 (30,000 THANK YOU POINTS) FOR CITI CHECKING ACCOUNT – HOT EASY DEAL!
Citi Checking has launched a new and exciting offer. From now until October 31st, consumers can get up to $300 (30,000 Thank You points)!
Here’s How It Works:
- Open a new Citibank checking account in The Citigold®, Citibank® or Basic Banking® Account Package by 10/31/12.
- Within 45 days after account opening, enroll the new checking account in Citi ThankYou® Rewards AND
- Complete one direct deposit AND complete one qualifying bill payment for two consecutive months.
This is a great easy offer to add some cash into your wallet for your next adventure or pay for some travel expenses. I’ll definitely be opening an account for myself and hubby. This is an easy $600 for a couple/family. If you are not familiar with the Citi Thank You program, check it out here. With this offer you receive 30,000 Thank You points. You can pay for most things with these points. You can shop with your points, get gift cards, book travel, get cash back, and even transfer points to friends or family. So family members or friends could all open accounts and then pool the points together and redeem for a fun vacation together or whatever you like.
If the direct deposit is an issue for you, I can help you with some “creative” ideas. Email me and I’d be glad to advise. Think Amazon and Paypal!!
*Offer expires 10/31/2012

Hey, what about previous Citi Checking account owners? Do they still get the bonus? I had one about a year ago, but closed it.
Yes, you can but according to the T&C’s you need to wait 2 years. “Offer for new checking customers only. If you have received a bonus reward for opening a new Citibank consumer checking account within the past two years you will not be eligible to receive a bonus associated with this offer.”
Remember that Citi has, in the past, issued 1099’s for checking account sign up bonus’. So be prepared to pay taxes on the points.
what is your e-mail? I need some ideas with direct deposit. Thanks
