Anyway, the Priority Club Points Break list is always a good list to check when planning a trip (if you have Priority Club points).  You can view the regular Priority Club reward chart to get an idea of how far 80,000 points can be stretched.  These points could really take your family on a nice LONG vacation in many locations.  If you stayed at a property that was say 10,000 points per night that would be 8 nights for FREE!    Or even 20,000 points per night; that would be 4 nights for FREE.  Our family stays at Holiday Inn often and we really enjoy it.  It’s a perfect middle of the road hotel with kids.  The hotels are always nice, pretty clean and just average all around.  Nothing fancy or special.  I think the Priority Club is a great loyalty program for family travel.  The complimentary breakfast is great to get you going in the morning.  You don’t have to worry about waking up and trying to find a restaurant with the kids.  That being said, the breakfast isn’t great!  It’s convenient and free.  Every little bit helps when traveling on a budget with kiddos.  I always just grab something a little more yummy later on in the day.  We save the money on breakfast and make lunch and dinner really nice!  We like to save our Starwood points for our “romantic” getaways without kids when we will really enjoy the hotel and spend time there.  When we are traveling with the kids, the hotel is just a crash pad really.  We don’t intend to hang out there at all.  We are much to busy seeing the sights.

So grab the free 1,000 Priority Club points if you haven’t already in the past and definitely consider the 80k offer.  I am applying for it myself now.  I’ve waited because I was busy with other deals and needed to cool out with Chase (too many cards).  I’ve been chilling out for 3 months and I’m ready for my 2nd quarter of bonuses.
