1,000 FREE MILES WHEN YOU JOIN DELTA SKYMILES
Delta is currently promoting an offer to Hertz customers in Seattle to sign up for Delta Skymiles. This offer is for a 1,000 Delta Skymiles just for joining the Delta Skymiles program. The terms and conditions do not require that you have rented from Hertz so this does not prevent you from joining through this offer and receiving. These miles post immediately even though the T&C’s state, “Please allow 4-6 weeks after qualification for bonus miles to appear in your SkyMiles account.” One nice thing about Delta Skymiles is that they never expire! So you don’t have to worry about having activity to keep them alive forever.

SPECIAL NOTE:
If you are trying to enroll children under 13 into the Delta Skymiles program you might want to put your birthdate and then go back and change it later. If you put a child under 13, it requires you to fill out a special form and email it and I don’t know that you would receive a bonus for their account.
Once enrolled, you will immediately receive their account number. Sign into their account and follow the steps below to change their birthdate. It’s very simple.
- On the left side bar click “My Profile”.
- Now you will see “Basic Info”. Click on “Open”.
- At the top you will see name and birth date displayed. Click on “Edit”. Correct birth date.
- Now click back to “My Profile”. You will now see the correct birth date appear in their profile. Done!
I’ve also listed this offer on the Airline Enrollment Bonuses page on the Miles Momma site. If you need to enroll with an airline frequent flyer program always be sure to check there first to see if there is currently a enrollment bonus.
