HOW TO EARN 5 FREE DOMESTIC TICKETS ON UNITED FOR YOUR FAMILY – 116,000 MILES
I’ve got an idea for you families out there! My mind is always filled with mile and point strategies and how you can combine offers to score a free trip. I don’t think a day goes by when I don’t think about ways to maximize earning miles and points or how someone could make a huge score.
This strategy involves both a Chase credit card offer and a DirecTV offer. This will earn you almost enough for 5 United domestic tickets. (Special thanks to my readers for catching my math error – I did get A’s in math too and did budgets for a living – crazy!!! Grrh!)

In my opinion the Chase Ultimate Rewards program is the best rewards program available with any lender. My second choice is the Membership Rewards program through American Express. Both of these programs give you the most control and flexibility over your points and enable you to use them for virtually anything.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
This is a great strategy if your family can benefit from the DirecTV service. I would not recommend getting into a two year contract with DirecTV just for the 30,000 United miles. But if you are in the market for this type of service, you could combine signing up for this DirecTV offer and applying for two Chase Sapphire Preferred cards and earn your family a free trip. Just an idea for you to ponder.

When I add up the points I’m only seeing 116,000 points not 126,000. Still interesting though.
